Please read these terms carefully before using Bukadash. They govern your use of our platform and the services we provide.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Bukadash platform — including our website and any related services — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. Bukadash reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Use of Our Services
You agree to use Bukadash only for lawful purposes. You must not use the platform to transmit spam, engage in fraudulent activity, impersonate other users, post offensive or harmful content, or attempt to disrupt or interfere with our systems. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these conditions without prior notice.
3. Orders and Payments
Bukadash facilitates food ordering between students and campus vendors. When you place an order, you are entering into a direct agreement with the vendor to purchase food. All payments are processed securely through Paystack. By providing payment information, you authorise Bukadash to charge the stated order amount including all applicable fees. Bukadash is not party to the transaction between students and vendors.
4. Service Fees
A flat service fee of ₦50 is charged per order to help maintain and improve the Bukadash platform. A delivery fee of ₦200 applies to all orders. These fees are displayed clearly at checkout before you complete payment. All fees are non-refundable except in the circumstances described in our Refund Policy below.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds are available only for orders that were not delivered to you. If your order has not arrived, you must report it to our support team within 1 hour of the expected delivery time via WhatsApp or email at support@bukadash.com. Approved refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method. Bukadash does not issue refunds for food quality complaints, incorrect items, or late deliveries, as these responsibilities lie with the vendor.
6. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors registered on Bukadash are responsible for the quality, accuracy, and safety of all food they prepare and deliver. Vendors must ensure timely preparation of orders, maintain accurate and up-to-date menu information, comply with applicable food safety regulations in Nigeria, and provide reasonable customer service. Vendors who consistently fail to meet these standards may be suspended or removed from the platform at Bukadash's discretion.
7. Student Responsibilities
As a student using Bukadash, you are responsible for providing an accurate, complete, and reachable delivery address when placing an order. You must be available to receive your order within a reasonable time of the estimated delivery window. Bukadash is not liable for failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate addresses, inaccessible locations, or the student's unavailability.
8. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Bukadash platform: placing fake, test, or fraudulent orders; abusing the refund or dispute resolution process; initiating unauthorized chargebacks with your bank; impersonating vendors, students, or Bukadash staff; scraping, copying, or reproducing platform content or data without written permission; using automated tools or bots to interact with the platform; and using Bukadash for any purpose other than legitimate food ordering.
9. Limitation of Liability
Bukadash is a technology platform that connects students with campus food vendors. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or accuracy of food prepared by vendors; disputes that arise directly between students and vendors; delays in delivery caused by vendors or external circumstances; or any loss, damage, or harm resulting from events outside our reasonable control. In all cases, our total liability to you is limited to the amount of the transaction in question.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with your use of the Bukadash platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
